For many years now, SIMO has helped manage and maintain the water supply and sewer systems for municipalities and industries. Its specialists provide a wide range of services, including complete inventory and inspection of water supply systems, flow/pressure measurement, location of leaks, fire hydrant diagnostics, one-way rinsing and hydraulic and manual valve manipulation. In addition, SIMO develops profiles of underground infrastructure, by performing TV inspections of manholes and sewer and storm pipes, and develops action and rehabilitation plans, where necessary.

A number of municipalities have delegated the overall management and operation of their water supply and sewer systems to SIMO, as well as the maintenance of various components, such as fire hydrants and valves. SIMO's main tasks include inventorying systems and equipment, preparing a routine maintenance program, making emergency repairs or replacements, managing complaints and verifying water quality.

SIMO has long been recognized for its leadership, reliability, diverse expertise and innovative approach, relying on state-of-the-art technologies and its affiliation with one of the largest engineering firms in the country, which has worked on hundreds of thousands of kilometres of water supply and storm and sanitary sewer systems.

SIMO's goal is to maintain reliability of the drinking water distribution network and quality of the water distributed while reducing leaks and wastage and ensuring fire safety for all. SIMO also focuses on establishing diagnostics of the condition of storm and sanitary sewer systems in order to develop targeted action plans.
